[ Intended Use 】
This kit employs an optimized extraction buffer system and a silica-based adsorption column to lyse cells, adsorb DNA, perform washing and rinsing steps, and thereby extract genomic DNA from cells while removing contamination from impurity proteins and other organic compounds. The extracted DNA fragments are highly intact and exhibit high purity, making them suitable for a wide range of routine molecular biology experiments.

Store and transport at room temperature. Shelf life: 12 months.
[ Instructions for use 】
1. Cotton Swab Processing: Transfer cotton swabs that have been used to swab the pharynx, nasal cavity, and other sites into 2-ml centrifuge tubes. Add an appropriate amount of PBS (e.g., soaking overnight in 200 μl PBS yields better results). Then, collect the supernatant for the second lysis step.
2. Take 200 μl of the sample treated in Step 1, add 200 μl of GTC buffer, vortex for 30 seconds, and incubate in a 56℃ water bath for 10 minutes.
3. Add 250 μl of pharmaceutical-grade isopropanol and let it stand at room temperature for 5 minutes. Transfer all the solution into the adsorption column, centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 1 minute, discard the waste liquid from the collection tube, and reinsert the adsorption column into the collection tube.
4. Add 600 μl of Wash Buffer to the adsorption column, centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 1 min, discard the waste liquid from the collection tube, and reinsert the adsorption column into the collection tube.
5. Repeat step 4.
6. Place the adsorption column into the collection tube and centrifuge at 12,000 rpm for 2 minutes. Note: This step must not be omitted to ensure that any residual wash solution is completely removed from the adsorption column.
7. Place the adsorption column into a clean 1.5 ml centrifuge tube, open the column’s cap, and let it stand at room temperature for 2 minutes. Then, carefully pipette 30–50 μl of elution buffer onto the center of the adsorption column membrane without touching the membrane surface. Allow it to stand at room temperature for 2–5 minutes, followed by centrifugation at 12,000 rpm for 2 minutes. The viral nucleic acid will then be obtained. For short-term storage, keep it at -80℃.
