Detection Principle
The aflatoxin M1 residue test strip employs the principle of competitive inhibition immuno-chromatography. During the flow of the sample, aflatoxin M1 binds to a colloidal gold-labeled specific monoclonal antibody, thereby inhibiting the binding of the antibody to the aflatoxin M1-BSA conjugate on the NC membrane’s detection line (T-line) and causing a change in the intensity of the color of the detection line. This test strip can be used in conjunction with a colloidal gold analyzer for simultaneous detection, allowing for the extraction of sample detection data. After data analysis, the final test result is obtained.
Scope of Use
This product is suitable for the qualitative detection of aflatoxin M1 in raw milk, pasteurized milk, and UHT milk samples.
Preservation and Stability
1. The product should be stored in a dry place at 2℃ to 8℃ and must not be frozen.
2. Avoid direct sunlight.
3. Valid for 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Sample Requirements
Before use, bring this test strip and the milk sample to be tested to room temperature.
Note: The samples to be tested must be homogeneous liquids, free from clumps, souring, and sedimentation.

Test steps
1. Remove the reagent container from its original packaging, open it, and take out the required number of microplate reagents and test strips, labeling them appropriately. Use them as soon as possible within 60 minutes. After removing the test reagents, immediately close the reagent container lid to prevent moisture absorption.
2. Using a micropipette, pipette 200 μL of the sample to be tested into the microplate well, and gently aspirate while ensuring thorough mixing with the reagent in the well.
3. Place the micropores at room temperature and let them stand for 5 minutes.
4. Insert the test strip into the micro-well—with the handle end facing upward and the absorbent pad end facing downward—and ensure that the absorbent pad is fully immersed in the sample. Start timing once liquid flow begins, and allow the reaction to proceed for 5 minutes.
5. Remove the test strip from the micropore, gently scrape off the absorbent pad at the bottom end of the strip, and then interpret the results. (Read the results within 2 minutes after the reaction is complete; the experiment is valid only if the results are read within this time frame.)
