[Main Ingredients and Content]
The main active ingredients of this product are Brucella strain S2 (CVCC 70502) or strains S2 and A99 (CVCC 70502 and CVCC 70203), at a concentration that produces a positive plate agglutination reaction when diluted 1:45 with the national standard positive serum, but does not produce a positive plate agglutination reaction when diluted 1:55 with the same national standard positive serum.
【Characteristics】 The uniform suspension becomes clear at the top and has a small amount of sediment at the bottom after standing for a long time.
[Function and Use] Used for the diagnosis of brucellosis by the tiger red plate agglutination test.
[Usage and Judgment] Mix 0.03 ml of the serum to be tested with 0.03 ml of antigen, and observe the results within 4 minutes. Any sample showing a reaction of + or higher is considered positive. Animals that test positive must undergo further complement fixation tests or other diagnostic assays.
Agglutination Reaction Criteria
++++ Large agglutination clumps or particles appear, and the liquid remains completely transparent.
+++ There are obvious agglutination particles, and the liquid is almost completely transparent.
++ There are relatively obvious agglutination particles, and the liquid is slightly transparent.
+ Slight aggregation can be observed, and the liquid appears cloudy.
- No agglutination; the liquid is uniformly turbid.
【Precautions】
(1) Shake thoroughly before use. Do not use if contamination is present or if there are clumps that cannot be dispersed by shaking.
(2) The antigen and serum should be allowed to stand at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes before the assay is performed.
(3) After mixing the serum to be tested with the antigen, continuously shake the reaction plate in a clockwise direction and observe the results within 4 minutes.
