In February 2023, some leaders from Hebei New Century Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Shijiazhuang Shengbo Biotechnology Co., Ltd. visited the College of Animal Medicine/College of Veterinary Medicine at Hebei Agricultural University, where they donated nearly 100 sample products, including chemical APIs, finished dosage forms, and traditional Chinese veterinary medicines, as well as over 90 sample products of molecular biology and serological veterinary diagnostic kits.
Zhao Kehong, Deputy General Manager of Hebei New Century; Huo Xiaoliang, Assistant to the General Manager; Zhou Hongxia, Director of R&D; Wang Zhenhua, R&D Manager at Shengbo Bio; Professor Zhai Xianghe, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College; Professor Liu Juxiang, Dean; Professor Shi Wanyu, Vice Dean; Associate Researcher Zhang Jingqian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean; Professor Yuan Wanzhe, Director of the Experimental Center; and Professor Wang Jianping, Head of the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology—among other leaders—attended the donation ceremony.
At the donation ceremony, Dean Liu Juxiang introduced the school’s history, discipline development, talent cultivation, and industry-university cooperation in the College of Veterinary Medicine/College of Chinese Veterinary Medicine. He particularly highlighted the Taihang Mountain Spirit and the Li Baoguo Spirit, as well as their profound impact. Dean Liu emphasized that the university is a cradle for nurturing talent, while enterprises serve as bases for practical talent development. Only through close collaboration between universities and enterprises can we cultivate more application-oriented professionals who can better serve society.
Relevant company officials unanimously stated: This donation of teaching specimens to the College of Veterinary Medicine/College of Chinese Veterinary Medicine is aimed at enhancing teaching effectiveness, facilitating experimental practice, and cultivating more high-level professionals. It also represents an important step in deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting the development of first-class disciplines within the college. Moving forward, the company will provide even greater support in areas such as teaching, scientific research, and discipline development, and will continue to strengthen collaboration in fields including joint talent cultivation, co-building of technological platforms, research and development of new products, veterinary drug registration applications, training for technical personnel, and promotion of product applications.
